1. Who we are

Cooked Hammer Ltd is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice.

  • Cooked Hammer Ltd
  • Company No. 17396769
  • Registered in England & Wales
  • Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ
  • Contact: support@cookedhammer.com

2. This website sets no cookies

This website does not set cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising technology, and no third-party embeds. Fonts are served from this website itself rather than from an external provider, so simply visiting these pages sends no data to any third party. Nothing is stored on your device and no profile of you is built.

Our hosting provider processes standard server request data, including IP address, for the purpose of delivering the site securely and reliably. We do not use that data to identify visitors.

3. What personal data we process

The only personal data we process through this website is what you choose to send us by email. If you write to one of our published addresses, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you include in your message. There is no contact form and no newsletter.

If you contact support about a game, we may also receive technical details you supply, such as your device model and operating system version.

4. Why we process it, and our lawful basis

We use this data solely to read and respond to your message, and to keep a record of that correspondence. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: the legitimate interest is responding to people who contact us, which cannot be done without processing what they send. We consider this to have minimal privacy impact, since you decide what to send and you can ask us to erase it.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. Your message is handled by our email provider acting as a processor on our behalf. We disclose data otherwise only where we are legally required to.

6. How long we keep it

We keep support and general correspondence for up to 24 months from our last exchange with you, after which it is deleted. We keep correspondence for longer only where we need it to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, or where the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Ask us to erase your data
  • Ask us to restrict how we use your data
  • Object to our processing based on legitimate interests
  • Ask us to transfer your data to you or another controller

To exercise any of these, email support@cookedhammer.com. We will respond within one month. There is no charge.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK supervisory authority for data protection, at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to: Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.

9. Changes to this notice

If we change this notice we will update the date shown above. If we ever introduce analytics or cookies, we will update this notice before doing so.
